The issue of increasing numbers of motor homes reportedly discharging their toilet waste into ditches, burns and lochs has concerned many parts of the community.
A few weeks ago, a public meeting was held by Assynt Community Association, an urgent request for help was raised: Lochinver Football Club’s mower was out of action and the team had been forced, mid- season to resort to cutting the grass, with small push-along mowers.
