The issuance on 6th February by Moderandum Ltd  of a Notice to Quit on VisitScotland (VS) effective from May 15th of this year, seals the fate and closure of the Lochinver Visitor Center in its present location.  Text of report to Assynt News can be downloaded here.

Visit Scotland visited Lochinver on 23 Jan 2017 to discuss with ACA board members possible solutions to the quandry facing the possible closing of the Lochinver Visitor Center

The advertisment of the owners of the Lochinver Visitor Center that the lease of the building is available, draws to a close protracted discussion between Visit Scotland and the owners.
