See links below to downloadable pdfs of the draft Local Place Plan document, and individual maps, as updated around mid March 2026. These are based on results of an earlier online survey, drop-in meetings held throughout Assynt through late 2025, and other meetings with local residents, and resident and non-resident landowners. Most ideas / proposals for significant development received in that process have been incorporated into the document / maps. Further drop-in meetings to present the maps and receive further feedback occurred on Wednesday 4th March, at Stoer Hall and Lochinver Village Hall community room 4pm – 6pm. Feedback from these along with some further feedback from Ullapool High School pupils, along with any other feedback received shortly, will be taken into account in a newer version soon, and that will then be shared with Assynt Community Council for comment, prior to a final version being submitted to Highland council for validation.
